We obtained our first Chesapeake in 1981. This was our original deadgrass girl, Jesse, and because she was so much fun and needed more company than our Labs could supply, several weeks later we added her brother , Jack, to our family. We began with both of these dogs in Obedience and Conformation and Jack and Jim spent may hours pheasant hunting in our back fields. The rest is now history. What began as a hobby became a vocation. Since those first Chessies, we (with the help of many talented owners) have produced numerous champions, obedience titles, hunt titles, agility titles, therapy dogs, search and rescue, and all-round family companions. |
